Web Applications Engineer (Engineering - San Francisco)

About the Job

Your role will be to build end-user features as fast as we can dream them up. You will work closely with everyone on our product development team to turn mockups into reality. Your will work across the full technology stack from front to back, and be completely responsible for each new feature you build - from design to implementation to deployment and maintenance. You will write elegant, maintainable, robust, scalable code every day. The features you build will be used by thousands of people the day after we launch them.

You will work not just on our web applications, but on embedded platforms (browser extensions, set-top boxes, netbooks, etc), and you may be called on to help with our mobile applications as well.

About You

  • You have strong computer science fundamentals, with a BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 2+ years experience in Java 1.5+, JSP and JSTL.
  • You have a deep understanding of Web protocols and formats and Web architectures.
  • You are comfortable working in HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
  • You are comfortable working in SQL.
  • Experience with Hibernate is a strong plus.
  • Scripting skills (Perl, Shell, or any other language) a strong plus.

Mobile Applications Engineer (Engineering - San Francisco)

About the Job

With over 20M mobile users we are one of the leading applications on the iPhone, Android and BlackBerry platforms. You will work to support and build new features for these applications, and any new ones we may dream up. You will work closely with our product manager, UI designer and other developers on our mobile team. You will be completely responsible for each new feature you build - from design to implementation to deployment and maintenance. You will write elegant, maintainable, robust code every day.

About You

  • You have strong computer science fundamentals, with a BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.

Sr. Automation Engineer (Engineering - San Francisco)

About the Job

In this role, you will have the opportunity to use the latest automation technology to build test infrastructure and test suites for Android and IOS mobile devices from ground up. You will work closely with the QA director and development engineers to identify the best strategy to build full functional test library, regression library, and verification test suites for the build.

About You

  • You have 5+ years overall test automation experience on Mac and Window doing client automation or server backend automation,
  • You have 2+ years experience in automating mobile devices using native code on IOS using Object C or building client test automation suites on Android devices.
  • You have experience in developing test suites using QTP Perfecto, SeeTest or SIkuli for build/release in an agile development environment.
  • You have experience in developing test automation scripts on Selenium or other web client automation and Robotium framework test automation development.

Backend Engineer (Engineering - San Francisco)

About the Job

You will work in our backend server team to build, maintain, optimize and scale ALL aspects of our backend systems. This is a key role in helping us to handle the incredible growth we continue to see. You will help solve the complex problems that come out of managing a high-volume site, both in terms of concurrent usage and huge dataset. You will learn new technologies as necessary, and apply them these problems.

In addition to scaling our systems, you will work closely with our product managers and web developers to support all of our end-user features across the 10+ platforms we are deployed on. Your primary customer in this role will be other developers, and you will build data access components for them to easily consume in building useful, fun, usable features. Campaign Manager (Advertising Operations - New York or San Francisco)

About the Job

Your role will be to traffic, manage, and deliver on advertising campaigns. You will support pre- sales efforts including creative testing and inventory management, take the lead in defining the campaign process "post-sale", collect all of the assets required for execution of the campaign, and traffic those assets accordingly. You will also be responsible for monitoring all campaign activity, providing reporting for that activity and optimizing delivery and performance of the campaign as needed. In addition, you'll be expected to take the lead on managing specially assigned projects and mentoring/training less experienced members of the AdOps team. This is a full-time position, either in San Francisco and New York.

About You

  • You have 3+ years of experience in advertising operations and digital ad serving experience (trafficking campaigns, optimizing campaigns and reporting) and a Bachelor's degree.
  • You have experience with the digital advertising process (RFP's, IO's, ad tags and creative assets, etc) and in digital ad trafficking in a major ad server (i.e. DFP).
  • You're a digital native: comfortable testing things in web browsers, managing Excel spreadsheets and Word documents and using the latest phone apps.

The scope of service includes managing our help center, email and social media channels to support customers who have questions or problems that needs to be resolved. Project Manager, Rotten Tomatoes (Editorial - Los Angeles)

About the Job

You will manage the production of key editorial features on the Rotten Tomatoes site by coordinating workflow and approvals on specific projects. You'll serve as the key point person for specific editorial projects, working closely with the product management, engineering, ad ops, and editorial teams to manage deliverables and workload on the rollout of new features for the Rotten Tomatoes site. In addition, you will interface with the sales organization to ensure the timely, well-coordinated delivery of sales-related editorial content to meet advertiser's timelines and ad campaign requirements. You will also develop, implement, and analyze reports to measure performance of editorial features and identify improvements to drive user engagement; assist the editorial team in managing schedules and deliverables related to PR and outbound marketing efforts; and document and maintain the processes for editorial production and critics aggregation. This is a full-time position based in Los Angeles.

You will be responsible for assisting in the creation of the "go to market" strategies for Flixster's Ad Sales team. You will coordinate marketing programs and online media plans to support those strategies, as well as provide support for other sales marketing team members and assist at local trade events.
