Picking up six years after the events of Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers, this competently produced but ultimately disappointing sequel attempts to tie up the uneven horror series' loose ends with a less-than-convincing resolution. This installment opens with Jamie Lloyd (J.C. Brandy), young niece of supernatural psycho-killer Michael Myers, giving birth on an altar amid a mysterious Druid ceremony. Before she is killed by her monstrous uncle, Jamie manages to leave her baby in the

Run-of-the-mill horror item is notable only for final appearance of the late Donald Pleasance
Although the series has obviously run out of steam, the ending leaves the door open for Michael's return. Really, it's about time the masks were removed once and for and all.
'Enough of this Michael Meyers B.S.!,' says a disgruntled Haddonfielder, as news spreads of the returning native son. Dream on.
Needless to say, the gore level is high and the scare level low -- although not as low as the intelligence level.
This sixth installment, by far the worst in the series, is bland and deadening.
Unfortunately, while director Joe Chapelle and writer Daniel Farrands took advantage of a clearance sale at the Horror Cliche Emporium, they forgot to stop in at Plots R Us.
Much maligned yet quite underrated...
Bogged down by ridiculous plotting involving warlocks, druids and Thorn that have no place in a movie about a villain who is supposed to be 'purely and simply evil.'
The series' nadir...nothing but a delivery system for murder and half-glimpses of naked women.
The film is so dark -- literally -- it's often hard to see what's going on.
The revelation of the Man in Black and the film's attempt to explain the origin of Michael Myers were the only points of interest here.
Slicker than crude oil and just as unattractive.
A return to form for the franchise....scares aplenty
It is still not a 'good' film. But it is generally competent -- that is, it appears to have been made by grown-ups, not by retarded preschoolers.
Ah, skip it.
Muddled sequel redeemed in part by Pleasence.
Yet another sequel no-one needed; too bad Donald Pleasance didn't stick around long enough to live it down.
The problem with the Halloween series that I have is that they tried to make things more important than they really were. When they started trying to come up with an explanation of what Michael Myers is it fails on all levels and makes things less intriguing. What makes the character interesting is its simplicity and

Halloween: The Curse of The Curse of Michael Myers is in my book, the third worst film of the Halloween franchise. At times the film doesn't even make sense, and it's all over the place. The result is a mess. However, for some reason, I did find this one to be decent enough to watch. However, the film does lack the
